Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Body Shop Estimator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive repair and excellent customer service skills.
Duties:
- Evaluate and estimate the cost of repairs for vehicles brought into the body shop
- Communicate effectively with customers to explain repair estimates and timelines
- Coordinate with the service team to ensure timely completion of repairs
- Inspect vehicles for damage and identify necessary repairs
- Utilize computer software to generate accurate repair estimates
- Provide exceptional customer service throughout the repair process
Requirements:
- Previous experience in automotive repair or service writing
- Knowledge of automotive systems
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in estimating repair costs
- Ability to upsell additional services or repairs as needed
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
